Name: Sarin "Rin" Bowleaf
Gender: Male
Age: 10 seasons old a.k.a 20 years old
Species: Red Squirrel
Personality: Sarin is tremendously friendly to his fellow Redwallers. He has come to love Redwall since he first came two years ago and has realised that Redwall is THE only place that he can call home now. He absolutely adores the Dibbuns and sometimes helps the Badger Mother to look after them.
Sarin is generally happy and likes to help out wherever he can. He likes to pass the time by doing odd jobs around the Abbey, but his main job is that of a Poisonmaster. He can be seen in his room, making new poisons up and picking herbs around the Abbey and Mossflower Wood.
He loves making friends and is loyal to them. However, due to his past, Sarin posesses a dark nature, which he only reveals to vermin. He has a deep hatred for them and will gladly poison them and stab them when given the chance. With his knowledge of poisons and good fighting skills, Sarin Bowleaf is a formidable opponent.
Appearance: Sarin is a red squirrel but unlike most red squirrels, he has unusual markings. A black right ear tuft and a blacl smudge on the end of his tail. These are presumeably birth marks, as tatoos are not generally seen anywhere. Sarin's fiery-red fur blazes in the sunlight, which almost makes it seem like his whole body is on fire. This can help to frighten his enemies, which is what he wants to do.
Sarin wears a brown vest and white baggy pants, with a belt that hold his pouches of poisons. A green cloak with a hood is hung around his neck, pinned to a golden brooch. A wooden staff made of oak is with him nearly most of the time.
Allegiance (Redwall, Salamanderstron, etc): Redwall
Weapons: wooden staff and herbs
Position (Only applies to Redwallers and anyone within a group): Poisonmaster but does odd jobs here and there
History (be detailed):
Sarin's story is not particularly pleasant one. He was raised by two loving parents, who were part of a mysterious squirrel clan on an unknown island. They were great fighters and poisonmasters. They were known to be suspicious of outsiders and hated vermin with a passion. Sarin's early childhood was of fond memories. He was well-liked within the Clan and had a group of close-knit friends.
Tragedy struck when Sarin was twelve. A ship of vermin stormed onto the island and began to overwhelm the poor squirrels. The Clan put up a good fight but the sheer number of vermin was too much. In the end, Sarin and his fellow clan members were captured and became prisoners. Some died straight away while others were used as servants. It was here that Sarin's hatred for Vermin grew.
For three whole years, Sarin and his fellow clanmembers suffered at the hands of the vermin. Sarin loathed the vermin and dreamed for the day when he escasped. He and a couple of young squirrels hatched a plan to escape but was risky. It involved all the surviving squirrels to work together. One night, Sarin and his friends tried out their escape plan. The price was heavy though. Their numbers had been decreased to little more than fifteen. The fifteen stayed with a kind mole family for a fortnight before moving on, knowing that they were endangering their new friends if they stayed longer.
Two more years passed, and Sarin was seventeen now. During the two years, the fifteen had constantly been moving, never staying in one place for than a month. Tragedy would strike again when the fifteen were in a village. One night, raiders came and pillaged, killing whoever came in their path. Sadly, the fifteen became one. Sarin escaped with a hedgehog and a couple of mice. They placed themselves somewhere where no one would find them. They lived in peace for a year before Sarin decided to move on. Sarin knew that he'd miss them but he knew in his heart that he needed move on.
So, Sarin wandered the place and eventually found himself in Mossflower Wood. He then stumbled across Redwall Abbey and sought shelter there. Sarin found that the creatures did not really know how to defend themselves and decided to stay there, merging with the life there. He has taken up the position of Poisonmaster and has stayed there for two years.

From a Camp Half-Blood site.
Grey stormy eyes narrowed in anger as they gazed into the eyes of an Ares kid. Electricity crackled as the son of the great Goddess of Wisdom stared down the almost barbaric son of Ares, the God of War. Kai’s fists were bunched and his whole frame was tense, as if he was ready to pounce like a panther. Fiona, a Apollo kid stood beside the mute kid looked worriedly from one to the other. This wasn’t good. Greg, the Ares kid had been slagging Kai for being mute. Kai had found out and now he was mad. Really mad. And when you made Kai mad, then you’d better run.
Thoughts whirled in Kai’s head and Fiona was seriously worried that there would be a fight soon. She had come to make sure that the mute Athenian kid was alright
“You should run, Greg,” said Fiona finally, meeting the Ares kid’s eyes. The kid had no idea how mad Kai could get. If Greg knew the story of Arachne, then he could guess what would happen if he pushed too far. “Kai, let Greg be.” This might help but it probably wouldn’t. Kai’s nose flared and then lunged. Greg easily dodged and let forth a punch. Kai dodged and instantly worked out plans for beating the stupid kid. Fiona flitted next to Kai, grabbed her mute companion by the sleeve and dragged him away. Greg had a smug smile and walked away. Kai however, wasn’t pleased with the turn of events.
<<What are you doing?!>> signed Kai angrily. He then stamped down, which made Formoses flinch. The girl looked down at Kai disapprovingly. He lightly slapped Kai on the head and then dashed away to the Athena Cabin. The door crashed open and the other kids curiously as the girl steered the protesting child to his dorm.
“What in the name of everything holy do you think you were doing back there?” The tone in Fiona’s voice made Kai stop struggling and protesting. Kai looked at the girl, shamefaced.
<<He made fun of me being mute>>
“As a son of Athena, you should have realised your folly sooner. Now, you will find Greg and apologise.”
<<What?>>
“Don’t what me, Bookworm! You will do as I say. And you will do it now!”
