These are the positions available to the residents of the Abbey. Note: Not all Redwallers will have a job
- Abbot/Abbess
Current Abbot/Abbess: Abbess Forsythia (Squirrel)
There is only one abbot or abbess at any time. These creatures are the essential leaders of the abbey, making sure to keep the peace, and to uphold the charter without hesitation. - Brothers/Sisters of the Abbey
The Brothers and Sisters of the abbey are mostly quiet folk. They live their lives in near solitude as far as friendship or relationships go. They work beneath the abbot or abbess to ensure that the charter of the abbey is followed.
One member of the brothers and sisters is in charge of the abbey's alcohol and wine supplies. This creature is almost always a hedgehog. - Badger Mother
Badger Mothers are all badgers, as their name suggests. Their roles mainly revolve around the youngsters, or 'Dibbuns' of the abbey. They are pillars of wisdom and guidance, and are the sort of creatures you want to go to if you need help. - Healers
The healers are an essential necessity for the abbey. They are the creatures who cure any ailments or wounds that the others may have, whether it be deep scars gained in battle or simple coughs. Those who are healers are trained and experienced in the uses of herbs and medicines. - Gardeners
The gardeners are the creatures who look after the flora of the abbey. They are in charge of keeping the plantlife looking beautiful, and the abbey ground's general upkeep. Gardeners, like healers, are often familiar with most herbs and properties of plants, and can sometimes double as basic healers when they are needed. - Cooks

They tend to the hives and the bees. They also gather the honey. - Scouts
Inside the abbey, there are a few creatures who take on the mantles of scouts. Normally creatures who are fleet of foot or capable of flying, scouts patrol the borders of the abbey for any signs of danger, or anything out of the ordinary that may need to be addressed. - Warriors
Number of warriors: [0/5]
As the days grow darker and the threats grow larger, the abbey has had to call upon warriors for defence. No longer are the warriors outsiders - these creatures reside within the abbey as civilians for the most part, and fight whenever there is the scent of danger. They are trained fighters, but they are noble and will not draw their weapons unprovoked. - Poisonmasters
Number of poisonmasters: [1/3]
Poisonmasters are teachers of poisonlore. They are adept in the handling and use of most poisons, as well as some poisonous plants. Their craft is one not often pursued, and experienced poisonmasters are difficult to come across.
