Asensia wondered though the orchards of the Abbey as she loved the pungent smell of the fruits around her. Her favourite fruit was the apple. She loved the sweet pure juices that come pouring out into your mouth when you take a bit and the crisp crunchiness of it skin. Asensia smiled as she inhaled to sweet scent before she sat underneath the shady branches of and apple tree and glanced up at the apples hanging high in the branches far beyond her reach.

Sarin had decided to take a stroll in the orchard, picking herbs up along the way. He was trying to create new poisons but it was hard. Mossflower just didn't have the same herbs as his homeland did. However Sarin thought that Redwall Abbey, in some ways, was a better home. The residents were friendly, if a little bad-mannered at times. Sarin loved the Dibbuns. They reminded him of the Dibbuns back home. Sarin sighed.
Out of the corner of his eye, Sarin noticed a familiar young otter and smiled. Asensia Elmwood. She was a lovely kid, friendly to those she knew but wary of strangers. She was a good otter, and Skipper Dagwyn should be proud to have on his team of otters. "Hey Asensia!" called Sarin.

Asensia stared up into the leafy green canopy that spanned out above her in a mid daydream stare. The scents of the orchard surrounded her and her eyes slowly drifted closed as she listened to the soft sounds around her. Soon enough Asensia heard the voice of a familiar resident of Redwall Abbey. "Sarin." Asensia said cheerfully her eye's opening and sparkling with happiness as Sarin was one of her favourite people to talk to as he told her all sorts of things she found interesting.

Sarin grinned and bounded up to her. The squirrel loved Redwall Abbey and would defend it from any vermin that dared attacked it. He didn't want his second home to be taken over. It didn't seem to deserve that. The Dibbuns wouldn't be a match for the harshness of the verrmin. The vermin would most likely keep them as slaves or mould their young minds to kill the beasts that they once loved.
"Hope is all well. Make sure you keep within the Abbey grounds. Something's gonna happen, I can feel it," said Sarin. He looked around suspiciously. "Anyway, how's your day been so far?"

Asensia's smiled widened s Sarin came over. She looked up at him from where she was sat in the orchard. Here and know Asensia was quite content as sh was with one of her most favourite people in one of her favourite place. The only thing that could make it better was if her brother was here. She listened as Sarin told her to stay with in the Abbey Walls and Asensia nodded."Okay Sarin I'll stay in the abbey." Then Sarin asked her about her day and she smiled before she spoke."My days been pretty ok, been to the archary range and I got a bulls eye first try." Asensia said getting excited towards the end.

Catriona made her way back to the Abbey. She had been out gathering herbs for most of the morning, evidenced by the now full basket that hung on her arm. She hadn't strayed far from the Abbey, she rarely did, and had gotten all she'd set out to collect. Even so, her sharp eyes would often pick up on some plant that might be of use to her, or that the infirmary's supply of was low, as she returned home, and wouldn't hesitate to stop and pick it. Her attentions, at the moment, were not focused on plants, however, but on the two figures that stood among the trees of the orchard. She smiled as she recognized the two, heading in their direction, waving with her free hand. "Sarin, Asensia!" She called out cheerfully, "Hello!"

Sarin smiled at Asensia’s statement. She was a good kid and had seemed to warm up to Sarin when he had first arrived here. He wondered why though. He was the same as any other beast here in Redwall but Sarin didn’t mind. She wasn’t causing any harm so he hadn’t done anything about the matter. As far as he was concerned, Asensia could very well be his only fan and he wouldn’t mind. She was a good kid and Skipper should be proud to have her in his team.
A shout from nearby caught Sarin’s attention. He twisted to see Catriona carrying a basket of herbs. He waved to her and smiled. “Hi Ona! Got more herbs I see! Mind if I take some for my poison making later on?” called one of the Poisonmasters. He had wanted to make a poison that would make a beast itch like they had ants running all over them but he needed some of Catriona’s herbs for that. The red squirrel sighed contentedly.
