Janna paused ,lingering at the edge of the lawns to the abbey , she knew she had to meet Sarin just a little further in front of her but it was open lawn and she did not do well in open spaces.
She sat wondering what she should do , she could see him but her hands would not let go of the branch she held. Quickly she ran to wards where he stood, her feet digging into the grass as she ran toward him why she had chose such a place she was now kicking her self.
"Sarin, I'm here?" she called stopping in front of him , but her head turned left then right looking around her face frowning as she stood in front of him

Sarin was waiting on the Lawns for his crush. He had liked her from the moment he had seen her, though he hadn’t shown it. He’d been too nervous you see. Perhaps today he would express his love for her. He didn’t have his staff on him today – he was in Redwall after all. However, that being said, maybe he shouldn’t take things so lightly.
He then heard a familiar voice and blinked a few times. When his wandering thoughts had returned to the present the Poisonmaster saw his crush. He smiled and sighed. He had to tell her today.
“Oh, Janna – you’re here, good. There are a few things I want to talk to you about, if you don’t mind?!”

Janna looked at him puzzled , she knew he wanted to meet with her but why she didn't know.
"Ow " she asked softly as she looked around again her reddish brown tail wrapped around her like a great fluffy blanket. Her eyes watched him closely. " are you going to teach me more about poisons and stuff?" she asked her eyes looking at him closely, the look in his eyes and the line of his tail , she felt safe around him.
As she saw a figure walk behind him she hid under her tail and only her eyes peeked out she never took her eyes off it till it had entered the abbey. She sighed wishing she was not so skittish around the others in the abbey but after what had happened to her family she could not change.

“Yes...and no,” said Sarin. He was so nervous. How was he to tell her? He had wanted to tell beforehand, a month ago in fact, but the fact of the matter was that Sarin Bowleaf was just too nervous to tell her. What if he was rejected? Well, if that happened then he’d just keep trying. He’d been through a lot so he could handle one little rejection...couldn’t he?
He noticed how she cowered when a fellow Abbeydweller had passed by. That was odd. Maybe he could help with that problem too. “Janna, I....I like you. I’ve liked you for a while now. I'm not sure if you like me. Also, I'm going to help you get over other fellow good beasts too.” Sarin heaved a sigh, now knowing he had done what he had wanted to do for a long time now. He just hoped that he was the one for Janna.

Janna sat listening her tail dropped as he spoke , her mind took in what he said , she moved her tail to behind her again and slowly moved so she looked at him "like , how?" she asked her voice soft as her hands touched his chest lightly.
Tipping her head as she looked at him "well, we've been friends for a while but " she paused and looked again at him as she spoke quicker " I like you too sarin , I mean more than just friends, I have felt it since our first meet, I...I want to be more sarin. " she said stepping back and grasping her tail to cover the blush she felt on her cheeks. This was the first time she had told him how she felt but he had told her first she hoped he requited what she felt.

"Like, how?"
Sarin almost blushed when Janna touched his chest lightly. He smiled, flattered by her words. It was true he liked her as well but he had been holding back because he didn’t know if she felt the same. Now he knew he could act on those feelings. He was sure the other Abbeydwellers would celebrate their coming together. He chuckled and smiled.
“Oh Janna. I’ve wanted to say that I’ve liked you for a while now but just didn’t know if you felt the same way,” said Sarin. He stepped closer to the female squirrel, gently brushing aside her tail. He smiled at her warmly, taking her paws. He looked at her and thought that she was the one that she was going to marry.

She felt his paws on hers and looked at him, with out a second though she moved and held him feeling his warmth against hers. Her tail wrapped around his with out a second thought feeling that's where it belong and she belonged she saw some one walk past again but not she just held him a little tighter.
"Sarin..you know my past and the problems I have to face each day "she gave a sigh " can you live with those?" she asked looking up at him her eyes pleading that he would understand and help her with it as she wanted to be able to walk about not scared of every one she passed.
